Breaking Pointe'

Just because I talk so much about dance, isn’t the sole reason that inspired me to make a fashion collection inspired by dance. It was my deep involvement in the craft and the hours I put in as practise that made me realise the huge difference that it has made in my life.

It was this involvement that gave me an idea to fuse fashion with dance and create a collection of five distinct garments inspired by the two much recognized dance forms - Hip-Hop and Ballet.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, "Breaking Pointe", a collection inspired by a thought to create an Elysium for a dancer wherein she can fuse the free spirit and moves of a hip hopper with the perfect techniques and the toned body of a ballerina.

Hip Hop has always been the voice of a generation demanding to be heard, whereas ballet has always been associated with grace and style, bringing the best of both styles together is the basis of my collection.
